Mahalakshmi Mantra Sadhana

Mahalakshmi Mantra Sadhana

Goddess Lakshmi is often shown as a beautiful female deity standing or sitting on a lotus flower, holding a lotus flower, with gold pouring from the palm of her hand and she represents the divine love that dwells in the heart’s lotus.

The lotus is a wondrous flower that blooms in beauty from roots that are enfolded in mud. It symbolises that beauty and peace and prosperity can bloom despite being surrounded by conditions which we may perceive as dirty or clouded. They are in fact the conditions needed for the transformation of the lotus seed into flower, and for human spiritual evolution. As Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh says: “No Mud, No Lotus.”

We offer this 108 chant of the sacred Lakshmi mantra as a way of re-connecting and merging with the sacred feminine in this form of ever-flowing love, gentle compassion and the outpouring of healing that restores peace to our hearts and to our world.

Chanting a mantra 108 times is the traditional sacred number and this recording is offered so that you can chant the mantra without being attached to counting. You can also chant while using your mala. You can also use this recording as a support for a 40 Day Sadhana practice where you chant 108 Lakshmi mantras every day for 40 days, which brings amazing benefits.
