Heart Meditation Facilitator
Drishti graduated as a Heart Meditation Facilitator, with Heart of Living Yoga, in March 2023. She was introduced to Heart of Living Yoga by Vishwam, having previously joined his creative writing and heart meditation groups.
Drishti has spent the last twenty years immersed in the study and practice of spiritual transformation, the blessings of the heart, emotional healing from a trauma-informed perspective and psychological growth. She lives and works in Suffolk in the UK, in private practice, as a psycho-spiritual psychotherapist, nature therapist and heart meditation facilitator. She trained for many years in Bath and Glastonbury, worked as a therapist in a Buddhist Centre in Wiltshire, and then with Martin Jordan as an eco therapist in Brighton.
She holds an MA from the University of Sussex in Creative Writing Therapy. She has also undertaken two years training as a shamanic practitioner, deepening her reciprocal relationship with the more than human world. Drishti sees herself as a medicine woman and a wounded healer.
Drishti’s absolute love is in supporting people to live a heart-minded life and guiding people to a place (their hearts!), where they learn to hold themselves, and each other, in love. She works at depth, in a tender, open and honest way, keeping it real, and believes that wounds happen in relationship and are healed in relationship. This includes our relationship with Mother Earth. Her life’s service is in guiding people on a spiritual path of individuation, supporting people to really get to know and understand themselves, their relationship with others, their relationship with the earth and the greater mystery of life - all from a heart-minded perspective.
At the centre of all her work is the slow maturation of the human soul and the midwifing of the heart.
Drishti offers heart meditation 1:1 and in groups; psycho-spiritual therapy; creative writing therapy and nature therapy.
